Incontinence Care for Elderly & Seniors

a-1 home care

Incontinence is a sensitive topic when it comes to caregivers and the incontinent individual.  It may be shameful and detrimental to the Elderly individual’s self-esteem, especially if they are still mentally aware. If you’ve cared for your loved one with incontinence, you know that it’s a job not suited for people with weak stomachs.  It’s common for family members to dread having to care for their incontinent loved one and it may cause tension in relationships.  A-1 Home Care understands this situation and provides compassionate and qualified caregivers, nurse aides, and companions who are experienced with Incontinence Care, whether it’s urinary or fecal.  To make matters easier for both parties, we’d suggest using incontinence aids such as waterproof bedding, absorbent undersheets for chairs, beds or couches, and incontinence pads or pants.

All of our caregivers must have prior work experience, verifiable professional references, a National Background Check/DMV Check, Tuberculosis testing, Malpractice/Liability insurance, First Aid/CPR training, and a personal interview with our office staff.  We specialize in Elder Care services such as Alzheimer’s Care, Arthritis Care, Parkinson’s Care, Hospice Care, Diabetic Care, Cancer Care, and Post Stroke Care.

A-1 Home Care is a Licensed Bonded and Insured non-medical homecare agency that has been in business since 1991 with an A+ Rating from the Better Business Bureau and Shield Accreditation.  We serve the communities of Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda, Fullerton, Placentia, Villa Park, La Mirada, Diamond Bar, Garden Grove, and others in Orange County.
